Our lives are greatly affected by the different environments, experiences, and clashing ideologies that surrounds us. A person cannot be simply labeled as one or the other. The circumstances we have do not fall under "black" and "white" but towards a gradient of a multitude hues and differences that eventually make up our identities. This process of continuous exposure and assimilation of every different external stimuli creates a schism in our identities, yet united in paradoxical oneness. We may hear different voices in our heads; in a sense, all manifestations of the identities of the "you", yet different in aspects where morality, will power, self-image and confidence, and other social abilities may be concerned.
In our every day lives, this can be seen upon every self-doubting, second-guessing, and every indecisive moment. Simply put, you are the struggle.
This exhibition tries to scratch at the hidden internal struggles of man. It is an attempt to translate the language of self-infliction and aggression towards a productive medium in order to raise awareness, and perhaps to ask for help.
